Both Amanu Studio and A.L.C. were founded by former celebrity stylists, Anita Patrickson and Andrea Lieberman, who share a passion for fashion and a commitment to creating timeless, high-quality pieces. The joint venture is a testament to their shared vision, expertise, and impeccable taste.
Following the success of our first partnership in 2023, the Summer Pre Fall 2024 collaboration consists of three silhouettes, including an exclusive iteration of the Kigali sandal. All styles feature hardware that is hand cast by artisans in Kibera, Kenya.

The Kigali style features an exclusive silver-tone toe hardware and sleek ankle straps—a best selling silhouette for Amanu, this is the first time its being offered in silver-tone hardware. It’s striking design is ideal for pairing with everything from tailoring to sleek midi silhouettes.
The Namibia, a recently developed Amanu style, features a 24k gold-plated toe bar and minimalist nude heel strap. Intended for special occasions, this style is particularly beautiful when worn with maxi silhouettes and evening wear.
The Virunga is a casual everyday silhouette emboldened with wide, croc-embossed straps. The most substantial of the designs offered, this iteration is the perfect daytime sandal for wearing with shorts, denim and knit sets.
